Refund Policy
Overview
This policy applies to archive services booked with Utility Haven Line Co.: annual proof packs, wallet inventory sessions, quarterly updates, and consultations.
Deposit refunds (annual proof packs)
- Before checklist issued: Full deposit refund within 10 business days
- After checklist issued but before visit: 60% deposit retained; remainder refunded
- After visit commenced: Deposit non-refundable; balance adjusted to actual scope
Wallet inventory and consultations
- Cancel 48+ hours before appointment: Full fee refund or free reschedule
- Cancel under 48 hours: 50% fee retained
- No-show: Full fee charged
Quarterly updates
- Before production begins: Full refund
- After indexing started: No refund; partial credit toward next quarter may be offered at our discretion
Non-refundable items
- Completed binding and materials
- Travel fees for visits already performed
- Rush surcharges once work enters rush queue
- Third-party costs (certified copies, courier) already paid on your behalf
Service quality issues
If a delivered proof pack contains indexing errors attributable to us, we correct and rebind at no charge within 30 days of delivery. This is not a monetary refund but fulfills our quality obligation.
Refund method
Refunds return to the original payment method unless impractical. Korean bank transfers process within 10 business days of approval.
Cancellation by us
We may cancel if documents appear unlawful, if safety concerns arise on-site, or if scope exceeds our capacity. In such cases unused deposits are refunded.
Rescheduling
One free reschedule per engagement if requested 48+ hours ahead. Additional reschedules may incur ₩50,000 administrative fee.
